I’m from this area, and I expected more from the RODE WAY INN ST. JOSEPH MI. It used to be a very good hotel under A.j and staff, but the new owners don’t seem to know how to keep the place clean. We stayed a few hours in room 203 and found roaches. I’m sure other rooms are affected too. There was no refund, just an apology, not even half the money back. The prices may be reasonable for St. Joe, but it’s not worth it. For $400 a week, you can find another hotel for about the same price, with breakfast and better quality living, even if it’s a few dollars more. I highly recommend nobody stay here. You can get a better room somewhere else, with exceptional cleaning.

The rooms were really clean, and the beds were super comfortable. Staff made check-in quick and were incredibly helpful. The hotel was awesome, and it’s in a perfect spot for walking around and seeing the city.

I’ve stayed here multiple times, and the rooms were clean each time. The motel is pretty quiet, and the beds are fairly comfortable. The TVs are a nice size. The hot water and shower head could be better, but I’d stay here again.

I stayed two nights, and on the first night I found hair, dirt, and a bug on the sheets when I went to bed. I went to the front desk for clean ones, but the staff were extremely rude and didn’t apologize. They asked why I hadn’t said something sooner. I’d only just gone to bed. The person reluctantly handed over replacement sheets. I know you get what you pay for, but sheets should at least be clean and staff should be respectful.
