Quality Suites St. Joseph

The check-in staff member was very friendly, and the hotel was quiet for a Friday night, even with what looked like a large construction company staying there. It was in a convenient spot for where we were going in St. Joe. We booked through Expedia, but the app didn’t mention the pool was closed. We’d promised our toddler a swim, and would have stayed somewhere else if we’d known. Still, the location worked out. For the price, the room was okay and fairly clean, with new laminate wood flooring. The bed was comfortable, even if the cheap platform frame wasn’t the nicest looking. The old pull-out sofa had what looked like dog hair under the cushions. We didn’t use it as a bed, but there weren’t any extra sheets if we had wanted to. The bathroom was clean enough, and the shower pressure was really good. Our daughter seemed to like the sausage and eggs at breakfast.

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with fresh, tasty food and a nice range of choices, including scrambled eggs, waffles, fruit, and coffee. A great way to start the day. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and helpful from arrival through checkout, making everything feel easy and welcoming. I had a great stay at the Quality Inn. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, everything worked as it should, and the bed was super cozy. I was really satisfied and would definitely recommend this Quality Inn for an affordable, comfortable stay with great service.

The beds were comfortable, which was the only good part of our stay. The floors, carpets, bedspread, and linens were stained, and the room had an unpleasant smell. Breakfast was skimpy and no one seemed to be looking after the area. Tables were dirty, there were no forks or coffee, and the scrambled eggs had gone crispy sitting in the warmer. One of the worst Choice properties we’ve stayed at.

We had a really good stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, which was a pleasant surprise. Staff at the front desk were friendly and professional and went out of their way to help. It’s set a bit off the main road, so there’s less traffic and road noise. The price was reasonable, and I’d happily recommend it.
