I stay here for work, and having a kitchen setup is sooo nice. It’s a quiet little motel on the east end of town, with several rooms that have kitchenettes, one with a jacuzzi tub, and a few small cabins too. Each space is unique, and the owner/manager is very accommodating.

The beds are worth staying for, comfy mattress, clean sheets, fluffy pillows, and warm blankets. This place has what you need when passing through, with a dark, cosy cabin feel. My only complaint is that our August visit had just a window unit and no fan. We stayed in cottage #4, which had a kitchenette, dining area, TV, mini fridge, and a little bathroom with a stand-up shower. Good toilet paper was a plus! We’ll be back.

I loved the room, but we lost power at 10 pm, and I couldn’t use my CPAP, which I’m supposed to use for Insurance to pay for it. I paid $175 to basically sleep in a hot tent with a bed, and he only gave us $20 back because he said it wasn’t his problem and we’d signed the paper. That felt a little heartless to me. I doubt I’ll return because he didn’t care. All my food went bad, I was hot, and we could’ve just stayed in the tent for free! Our view was a junkyard too.

The suite was roomy, very clean, comfortable, and even cozy. The staff were really nice and personable, and the little property was clean and felt safe. The location was convenient, and the price was competitive with other hotels in the area. There was a code for the coffee, and the grounds came in a jar so you could make it how you like. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was handy, and the beds were comfortable. It also had air and heat units, unlike many places in Colorado mountain towns. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I usually pick a chain hotel when I travel for work, but I saw this place online and decided to try it. No regrets. Room #6 was charming, decorated with a ski motif and copper accents in the bathroom and room. It had the usual amenities, WiFi, TV, microwave, and fridge. The coffee setup was a nice touch: a “real” pot, with coffee in a jar and filters so you could make your own. There was also a back door leading to a well-kept yard with green lawn, tables, and chairs. My dog loved being able to pee in the yard instead of finding a weed in a parking lot crack. The bed was comfy, the outlets easy to reach, and the lighting soft but still bright enough without being harsh. Those homey touches made this one of the most comfortable places I’ve stayed all year, like a little “Cabin in the mountains.”
