The free breakfast is a real highlight, and the staff take pride in it. There are eggs, bacon or sausage, breads, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal, fruit, waffles, sweet snacks, coffee, milk, apple juice, and orange juice. Some days they make chorizo and eggs with fresh tortillas and homemade pico. The whole team, including manager Jess, is professional and welcoming, and she always has a smile. I’m in hotels for work almost 11.5 months a year, and this place ROCKS. Check-in is attentive, maid service is top-notch, and the spacious rooms are always very clean. They have flat-screen TVs, coffee makers, and hairdryers. The A/C works great, and the heat is like a furnace on colder days. There’s also an indoor heated pool with a fun slide for the kids. It feels like a place where you’re treated like family. You won’t regret giving it a try.

The breakfast burritos were AMAZING, with fresh refried beans and pico, and the staff were great. The place was clean, too. But this isn’t a three-star hotel. It feels dated, like it’s stuck somewhere in the late ’90s, and the service and people can’t make it feel like a modern three-star experience. It reminded me of a dog you know will need to be put down soon, so you try to make it comfortable. If the property gets updated, this staff could really make it shine.
My children and I didn’t even get past the lobby. The place looked nothing like the pictures, and the pool was green. As soon as we walked in, a strong smell of chemicals, not cleaning products, hit us. My kids didn’t want to stay. After dealing with the desk woman’s attitude, I accepted the cancellation fee and went to find a better room somewhere else. Would NOT recommend.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, which matters a lot to me. The bathroom looked a bit dated and could use an update, but the room was nice overall. Everyone on staff was super friendly, especially the woman handling breakfast. There was a great spread with more variety than at some other places we’ve stayed on this road trip. This was the cutest BW we’ve come across so far. I loved the fall decorations and refreshments in the lobby. The second-floor hallway had a look straight out of The Shining, which I got a huge kick out of as someone who loves spooky things. I really enjoyed walking to and from our room there, and was pleasantly surprised by the stay.
The breakfast was outstanding, and the food staff were especially friendly and clearly took pride in their work. After nine years as a BW rewards member, this was the best breakfast I’ve had. Along with the standard BW breakfast, there were beans and cheese in a crockpot, warm tortillas and chorizos for burritos, Oikos high-protein yogurt, five kinds of fresh fruit, flaky biscuits, and lots of toppings. The rooms were average, and renovations were still underway. The location was farther from I70 than I preferred. Even so, the excellent staff and food earn five stars from me.
