We had a spacious king suite with nice furnishings, and everything was very clean. The hot breakfast was good, and I liked having a gravel bike trail beside the hotel for a walk before traveling, plus a Braum's and gas station next door. It's also right off the highway, so easy to reach. Check-in was slower and less efficient than I'd have liked, and using the app didn't seem to help. Still, I'd recommend it for a comfortable night's sleep and a convenient rest stop. I'll probably stay again.

The service was really good. The morning guy even made more eggs when I asked, though it was almost 10. The beds were comfortable, the room had a big-screen TV and a nice shower, and everything was clean. We could hear the person next door thumping around and people in the hall, so it was kind of noisy. The bathroom door in room 204 also wouldn't close all the way.

The staff were incredible and the beds decent, but the walls and ceiling are so thin you can't get around the noise. Wi-Fi was slow, and there's no Ethernet. The pool looks like it's cleaned often, but never well, with mold around the top. It needs a deep clean before anyone swims in it. If you have to stop in salina, I'd strongly recommend the second floor. People were checking in at all hours, including families with little screaming kids.

The staff were good and the rooms clean. My main issue was the internet, which matters a lot when you're in the area for business. It was very slow, and conference calls, uploads, and downloads dragged or sometimes disconnected. Streaming video worked fine, but the rest was bad enough to keep this from getting more than three stars.

Breakfast was okay, but the place seems to be deteriorating already despite looking like it was renovated in the past few years. Maintenance is poor, and it needs more cleaning, especially in the bathroom and carpets. I come out of the shower feeling sticky anyway. The room rates also swing a lot. I booked ahead and was surprised when the price dropped dramatically the day before check-in. Weird!
