Sky Harbor Suites

The rent is cheap, but not cheap enough for this. The problems have been ridiculous. I went a month without internet after an exterior issue took it out, and getting it fixed took exhausting hoops. Then the water in my apartment was off for three days. I also had ants in my closet, and the worst issue was sewage flooding from my kitchen sinks. Maintenance has been anything but helpful. When I ask them to fix something, they often create another problem. When pest control came for the ants, they threw my belongings around the apartment and left a mess, with dead ants everywhere, including on my bed. The sewage cleanup was disgusting. Maintenance came to “fix” the kitchen sinks without draining them or moving anything out of the way. Sewage spilled onto the counter and contaminated my food, ruined sheet music, soaked my rug, got on my furniture, and left me likely needing to throw it away. My whole kitchen was uprooted. They put garbage on the counter, used my dish towels to wipe up sewage, and tracked it through the entire apartment.

Everything was handled online, but the process was still quick and easy. Contract timelines and payments were respected, and I never had any issues while living here. The staff were friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. It was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our three years here. It’s a pleasant place to live, though somewhat small and pricey, but what isn’t these days? The property and facilities are well maintained, and the maintenance team is amazing, quick, and friendly. Mold can grow easily in the apartments, so keep an eye out. We never had pest problems. Move-out went surprisingly well. We expected to owe money, but they returned some of our deposit instead of giving us a hard time. I’ve been here a few months and am enjoying it. The rooms are on the small side, but with all the amenities they’re good value, and there are community events from time to time. The staff have been great to work with and respond quickly when something comes up. It’s rare to find apartment living these days where you don’t feel taken advantage of, but Sky Harbor has honestly been great.
