Comfort Suites San Angelo near University

It saddens me, because I loved the location, clean rooms, breakfast, and employees. We had stayed here easily over 100 nights while working in San Angelo and nearby areas during my 14 years with my company. That's over now. I hope keeping the $150 they charged me was worth losing the thousands my company would have spent here. I'll find another hotel chain. I booked one room for two nights, then at check-in asked to change it to one night. The person there said it was no problem and that they'd fix it when I checked out in the morning. This had happened many times before without an issue. At checkout they said it was corrected, and I have the printed receipt. But my card was billed for both nights. Three days later, back in town, I stopped in to ask about the bill. The manager said my receipt didn't prove I'd checked out and they would still charge for two nights. They also said they couldn't establish whether they'd rented the room the second night. So sad that one extra $150 mattered more than repeat business.

Rhi-Rhi made check-in quick after my Wife, Daughter, and I arrived tired. She also helped us buy snacks late at night. The morning staff member was helpful too, though I didn't get her name. We stayed two days, and both of them did a great job.

We had plenty of room in the suite, even with our 16-year-old daughter and two little boys. The boys slept on the sofa bed, and I loved the small lights by each bed. I could turn off the main lights so they could sleep and still journal about our trip. The air conditioning was nice and cold, the room was clean and smelled good, and everything looked fairly new. Booking online was easy, and the staff were nice and accommodating when we arrived late. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning, too. I highly recommend the hotel.
