The free breakfast was beyond what I expected: bagels, muffins, delicious warm cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, plus a machine that makes pancakes at the press of a button. I liked my stay so much I added another night. Check-in was easy and friendly, the price was very reasonable, and the staff were great. My room had two queen beds and was very clean and nice, with a mini fridge, microwave, ironing board and iron, safe, and a lovely bathroom with a large showerhead. I also swam in the indoor pool and used the hot tub. I didn’t use them, but appreciated that they had equipment for differently able people. A wonderful, inclusive atmosphere.

The rooms were fairly clean, and breakfast was decent. Our bay-facing room looked toward a business that likes to blast music all night. Luckily, the front desk staff switched us quickly. It could be a problem if the hotel were full. If we’d had to stay in that original room all night, I’d have given it one star.

The room was larger than I expected, with a fridge and microwave, and breakfast was warm and decent. The indoor pool was a nice extra, and there’s lots of parking plus an ice machine on each floor. There isn’t much nearby. Our TV didn’t work and the WiFi was weak, though staff did try to fix the TV. Service was super friendly.

I was here for work and liked that it sits far enough off HWY 101 to stay quiet. I prefer South Beach anyway. If you’re visiting the coast, plan on driving to places. A few families were around, but it isn’t tourist season on the Oregon coast right now.

The staff really stood out, always cheerful and helpful with our questions. Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a nice bonus too. I’ll stay here again when I’m back in Newport.
