Check-in was quick and easy, and parking was free. The place is right next to the Famous Magic Time Machine Restaurant, so you can walk next door for dinner and head back to crash. Our non-smoking room smelled great and was very clean. I’ve stayed at lots of hotels this year, and this one ranks among the best. The bed was comfy, the AC was just the right temperature, and the shower was great too. We paid only $80 on a Saturday night during Christmas weekend in San Antonio, hard to beat compared with the other local hotels. Thanks for making our last-minute, late-night stop a pleasant night’s sleep :)

The room was clean and tidy, and the AC kept it really comfortable. Nothing fancy, but there was plenty of parking and getting in and out was easy. I’ll book here again.

For the price, this place does the job as a place to sleep. My Saturday night cost $75, a good deal compared with nearby places that were charging twice as much that weekend. It was far from unpleasant, and the location made dinner easy. There are several restaurants nearby, including some within walking distance, and Cabo Bobs is worth a try. The airport is across the highway, and downtown is about 10-15 minutes away. My room was clean, with no musty smell and no sign of bugs. The shower had good space and got hot quickly. Wi-Fi is free, though I didn’t use it, so I can’t say how fast it is. The AC cooled the room, but it was loud and aimed right at the bed, which made it annoying when I was trying to rest. A couple of things made the room less convenient for a longer stay. There weren’t useful outlets by the bed or desk, just unused ones near the sink, so charge your devices before settling in. The lighting was only okay, and a lamp by the bed would help. The walls are very thin, so I could hear planes, highway traffic, and, from a first-floor room, people upstairs. If you’re sensitive to noise, keep that in mind. Check-in at 3 p.m. was quick, and they didn’t try to upsell me. I entered a card for the reservation, but it wasn’t charged until I confirmed in person. I’m not sure what happens with a no-show. Staff were friendly, though checkout was a little slow. There’s a doorbell and a number to call if you’ve waited too long. I’d recommend it for a quick night or two, especially if you’ll be out most of the time. I’d look for an upgrade for a longer stay.

I was here on a business trip, and the owner was a good guy who always did what he could to accommodate me. The rooms are clean, the service is good, and the price is hard to beat. It’s nothing fancy.
