The walls look like they haven't been cleaned, and there are roaches and bed bugs. When I pointed it out, they told me to leave with a $5 refund. Management and employees don't know how to run a decent place. I didn't want to give them any stars, and I'd never put anyone through that cruelty.

Customer service was nonexistent, and this was an all-around horrid place to rest. It felt sketchy and unkempt. I got an 8:43 a.m. knock reminding me checkout was at 11, and if your Uber or Lyft runs a few minutes late, be ready to feel unwelcome. The exterior was already a warning. One word for it: dilapidated. My room smelled like a fridge that's been switched off and left closed, which made me think there might be mold or mildew. The outlets had no plates covering the wiring, and the fluorescent lights flickered. They didn't light up when switched on, so I had to leave them on for them to work. I'm guessing a bad ballast. The towels were visibly stained and should have been replaced months ago. The A/C filter was disgustingly dirty, like a dryer lint trap, so I cleaned it myself. The flat sheet, which had once been white, was brownish, and the comforter had wear and tear, strings everywhere, and what I can only guess were crumbs. The crumbs weren't related to the comforter's wear. I was pretty sure I saw “transactions” happening. How many different visitors does one person get in a day for just a couple of minutes?

It's a nice, decent place, run by a mom-and-pop and kept house. I call it Little Mexico 🙂. I'd have given it five stars if the price were $5 less per night.

It did the job for the price, but the cable they advertised didn't work when we tried it. The towels were stained, and I wasn't sure about the bed.
