We stayed with our toddler and were happy with the clean, nicely sized room. Breakfast was much better than the usual continental kind. We paid an extra $20 per night to include it for our dates, and got one voucher per day at check-in. Each person, including our toddler, could get one entree and one drink. You can still eat at the restaurant without booking breakfast, but it costs more. The hotel is close to La Cantera for shopping, and we'd probably stay again. I only had two complaints: WiFi isn't free unless you're a Hilton Honors member, and the shower pressure was really low. Fixing that would make a big difference.

Ashley at the front desk was always helpful and greeted us with a smile and hello. Krystle was an awesome bartender, super friendly and attentive, and made fantastic drinks. Juan, the chef, made delicious food at the restaurant. I'd especially recommend the lamb chops and chicken wings. We had an excellent visit!

V looked after my friends and me at the bar, and Ashley at the front desk made the place feel like home. They were both great, and the team helped with our reservation and request without hesitation. We’ll come back for the service alone.

The free parking and the mall across the street were handy, and Flaming Wok right by the hotel was delicious. We also liked the location, a 10/10 for us. I picked Doubletree for our San Antonio trip mostly because of the reviews, and I’m glad we did. It smelled good when we walked in, and the room was nice. The staff were really friendly, especially the bartender, who I think was named Jorge. The drinks were on point. Breakfast is available for a charge; I tried it and thought it was just OK. My one complaint was the water pressure.

I’m a Diamond member and usually love Doubletree, but I won’t stay at this San Antonio location again. Six trucks, mine included, had their windows smashed and were searched by thieves. Luckily, we didn’t leave anything inside. Other reviews make it sound like this has happened before, so maybe they should hire a security guard. I visit San Antonio often, but I’ll choose somewhere else.
