Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Fiesta Park

The room was dirty, and the price wasn't what the website showed. It listed $66, but I was charged $88 plus a $150 deposit. The front desk woman mentioned the broken sofa, but didn't say it was dirty. Then a man opened our door. The top lock stopped it from opening all the way. He said the room was his and that he'd booked it online, so I told him we'd just been assigned it and he should talk to the desk, then shut the door. It was strange that he had a key to my room. For around $87 a night, I'd choose a recognized hotel.

There were other guests in the bathroom too, including a cockroach. The tub hadn't been cleaned and its drain was clogged, so we had to shower in another room and walk back to the one we'd set up in. They couldn't get maintenance to come. We booked this place because it was supposedly the only area big enough for our family of six, but the family suite photos were misleading and the property was outdated. Gaps around the door let in smoke when people stood outside smoking, along with lizards and other bugs. I wish I'd read the reviews before keeping the reservation, because I would've canceled immediately. I want my money back. Stay away. I bet Super 8 is a heck of a lot better.

The highway is very close, and we could hear it, though we were tired enough to fall asleep without trouble. Our neighbors were arguing, and the walls are paper thin, but the staff weren't at fault and moved us to a new room right away. We arrived in SA at the last minute and were glad to find an affordable place. We never got down in time to try breakfast. I don't like rooms that face parking lots, and the area felt sketchy, so I probably wouldn't return. It did the job for my family this time.

Nice place to stay, with good cleanliness and arrangements. The management had a communication problem, though. We were asleep when they came by to ask about housekeeping, three times. We said no the first two times. Sort that out and you're good to go.
