Red Roof Inn San Antonio E - Frost Bank Center

This was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in, and I can't understand how it's still open. There was used toilet paper in the shower, what looked like blood on the bed cover, and eyelashes on the floor. I even found someone's underwear in the bathroom. The yellow pillows looked like they hadn't been washed in decades. Don't waste your money here.

I've been coming here for more than a year, and they haven't let me down. The rates are really good, and whenever room service cleans, they do a super thorough job and are always on time. If you need a nice place to rest, this is a good spot.

We found a cockroach crawling across the entertainment center, right where we'd put our things and where the fridge and microwave are. Now we're hoping nothing gets into our food and that we don't find bed bugs. We'll have to disinfect everything before packing it into the car to continue our drive. The bathroom was grimy, and the shower floor had so much slime that one of us nearly slipped. Water kept leaking from the shower head, and we had to turn the whole fixture upside down to stop it. The sheets were stained, the floor was filthy, and there was something dried into the corner by the window, bed, and AC that looked like vomit or food. Red specks on the curtains could have been blood or a red drink. The room also felt extremely humid and damp, with a musty smell, though we didn't notice cigarette smoke. The AC smelled awful when we switched it on. Flooring was bubbling up, and the walls were cracked and peeling. The room is right beside the freeway, so there was constant noise. Management may be trying, but the rooms aren't being kept in a good state. Please read the reviews and find somewhere better. You'd be better off sleeping in your car than spending a night here.

I booked this place for its proximity to the Frost Bank Center, but I regretted it almost right away and ended up choosing another hotel. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the fridge had a strange odor. There were dead bugs on the floor, the bathroom wasn't clean, and they hadn't left any shampoo. The shower was slippery and had nowhere to set soap. The door kept sticking, and the bed was uncomfortable, with springs poking through. There were only three pillows, an odd number for a bed. The whole place gave me a sketchy feeling, and I wouldn't stay here again.
