Travel Inn San Antonio

I was there for about 2 weeks and never saw anything done about the problems in my room. The bed was tilted when I arrived, but I didn’t think much of it until it snapped while I was asleep one night and I landed on the floor. I know cheaper places that are way better. The only decent part was Mary in the front office, who helped with everything I needed. She’s the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars. I won’t stay again unless they do some serious work on it.

All I wanted was a clean bed, and that’s what you get here. It’s bare bones, which suited me. My only complaints: no morning coffee and just one flimsy pillow, so definitely pack your own! 😆 I was surprised how safe I felt, with an overnight guard and lots of cameras on the property. I’ll stay again next time I need a cheap overnight spot in SA.

I wanted people to know what a wonderful person Danny, the manager at travel inn, is. With all the issues happening around the hotel, he has a lot on his plate, but does his best to help everyone coming and going. He’s also very helpful with our safety and things like that. He deserves a raise. I was devastated to learn he was leaving. This place won’t be the same without him. We pray your journey goes well.

I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean the room before I could use the bathroom or even take my shoes off. It hadn’t been cleaned at all and was infested with roaches. They stayed in the room throughout the entire 8 days I was there. This place is like a roach motel. I returned the remote and room key and was supposed to get my $20 deposit back. The front desk clerk said it would go back to my credit card the same way I paid, but I still haven’t received it. Nasty and disappointing. Please pick somewhere else, don’t book here out of desperation.
