The deposit was the last problem. When they inspected the room, they came up with excuses to keep it and tried to charge me another $50. I refused the extra charge, but they kept my deposit anyway. I stayed three days, and the service and room were awful. I had to buy my own toilet paper and towels because the promised housekeeping never came after I called. There were roaches in the room and burn holes in the blankets. I knew this wasn't a five-star hotel, but this was absolutely the worst. Please stay somewhere else.

The manager was the best part of our stay. When we reported that the window wouldn't lock, he fixed it right away and said women's safety was a priority. Later, when people were knocking on our door and window at night, he came over, checked outside, gave me his personal cell number, and asked the staff to keep an eye on us. It made my friend and me feel much safer. The area felt dodgy, and there were people outside our room and walking around overhead all night. The bathroom looked a bit run down, but I wasn't too fussy about it. The room itself was clean, smelled really good, and had no bugs or anything gross. My expectations weren't high, but the service was great.

I didn't even stay one night. As soon as I saw the room, I asked for a refund. Mr. Patel assured me I would get one, but since then he's avoided both me and the booking company. They took my money and won't answer calls. The lobby and rooms smelled musty, and I saw black mold and roaches in every room. The neighborhood looked drug infested, and the manager seemed like a scam artist. The photos don't show what the place is really like. This is a huge health code violation and should be closed permanently. It's a nightmare. Don't stay here, even if it were free. I'd give zero stars if I could.

There were some signs of minor remodeling, but the place hadn't been cleaned up. I posted pictures of the damaged linens, and I'm still unsure whether that was blood on the headboard. The room had no trash can, the tub had the landlord special, and the smell of insecticide hit me as soon as I walked in. At least there were no bed bugs. The beds were outdated and extremely uncomfortable. The pillows were old, stained, and flat. There weren't any full-size towels, just hand towels and small ones. There was no free breakfast, despite the ad. At 9 p.m. I could walk into the office and speak to the front desk, but when I went to drop off my key, he made me meet him at a window. People were outside smoking drugs, and there was no noise curfew. Folks were loud outside our door at midnight. I've stayed in few worse motels. The booking.com rating says 5.6/10, but it should be 0/10. Don't come here.
