Best Western SeaWorld San Antonio

We chose this place because it was near a family member who was in town for surgery, which is why I gave the location two stars. Jerry at the front desk was great, but our 18-day stay was otherwise a bad experience. We brought our towels down to exchange each day and our sheets each week, then made the bed ourselves. We took out our own trash, bought our own toilet paper, and never got room cleaning or toiletries restocked. People in the room above us sounded like elephants stomping around all night. The hallway carpet was badly stained. Someone shampooed it, which helped a little, but it still looked horrible. The vending machine was always empty, and there were miscellaneous people hanging around. Breakfast was minimal, with all sorts of people and groups with six kids each crowded around the bar.

Jerry at the front desk helped me find nearby restaurants, and the housekeepers were attentive and kind. My room was very clean and smelled fresh. Even the toilet paper roll had a little flower on it, such a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fluffy eggs. This is becoming one of my favorites. Thanks, y'all 🫶🏼 See you soon.

The walls were so thin we heard every word and dogs barking all night. The room was tiny, filthy, and smelled awful. There were used tissues in the toilet when we checked in. The black-haired woman at the front desk was rude and dishonest. While talking with Expedia, she agreed to move us, then later refused. Around 3 a.m. she came to our room and clearly noticed the disgusting odor, even covering her nose, but still said there was no smell. We couldn't sleep, and the trip was ruined. They advertise laundry facilities, but guests can't use any. There's only a dirty staff laundry area, which seemed to show how poor the hygiene was. The manager doesn't fix things and just replies to bad reviews with excuses. Avoid this place. It's an embarrassment to the Best Western brand, and every bad review here is 100% true. 👎👎👎

We booked six rooms for our high school athletes. The rooms were very clean, and the hotel looked nice and new. Staff were very friendly, though one of the six rooms had a foul smell like a wet rag.
