We had a good location in the hotel, and the service was quick and friendly. Everything else felt worth what we paid, apart from one small issue: the two-bedroom suite with a kitchen didn’t have a microwave, which was the reason I chose a kitchen in the first place. I’d book another night if I’m in the area again.
The refund issue is what finally made me write this off for good. They’d refunded the original amount after I paid a reduced rate for both rooms, but I recently found out they canceled that refund and still kept the reduced payment. During the stay, one room had an open hole cut for the plumber, and both rooms had dead roaches. There were scuff marks and punched holes in the bathroom too. My room connected to another, so we locked that door and put a table against it because the dog next door kept barking nonstop. I reported the problems at the front desk, accepted the reduced rate, and wasn’t going to make a fuss. I’ve crossed it off our list of places to stay. Edit #1: added the photos.
I waited outside for a while, ringing the service bell. When someone finally came to the front desk, I asked if they had any rooms. He rudely said, “not for the night,” slammed the little window shut, and walked away. I definitely won’t try this place in the future.
There were bed bugs, plus poop residue and pee stains on the sheets. When I asked to change rooms, they told me to leave and threatened to call the cops. They canceled my reservation so they wouldn’t have to refund me, and threatened to call ICE because I speak Spanish. Stay far away.
I stayed for several days in September 2025, and the room felt peaceful and safe, with a working main door that had three different locks. The TV was a large screen, and the internet was fair. It’s not luxury, but it was comfortable and a place where I could relax. The room had temperature-controlled running water, good AC, a medium-sized fridge, microwave, granite sink, clean towels, new soap, and a clean bed. The price was very fair, and the room numbers were easy to read. Entry was with modern plastic pass cards. The owners are respectful and serious. They’re an immigrant family who became great Americans, and they’re at the establishment around the clock, seven days a week. If you’re presentable, respectful, and well-mannered with the owner, he’ll assign you a well-kept room, trusting you to clean up after yourself and respect the long-term neighbors. People do stay long term here because it’s livable.
