Studio 6 Suites – San Bernardino, CA

Cheap, dirty, and smelly. This place needs sanitizing at least two or three times a day, and housekeeping should be ashamed. No photos needed; the review speaks for itself.

We only stayed because everything else in the area was booked for Halloween. Roaches were all over the room, on the floors and walls. Easily the worst place we stayed in the IE.

I spent most of my stay in the room, which was newly renovated, stylish, and had great amenities. It looked like a four-star room, better than some Embassy Suites, and the fresh colors and finishes were worth it. I care a lot about having beauty around me, especially when the ugliness outside is beyond my control, so I’ll come back. The downtown area felt shady, which is what you might expect, but I wish management would improve the service and how staff treat guests. They shouldn’t assume everyone who walks in is trouble or a burden. At the end of my stay, I heard a man and woman in the next room fighting loudly for about an hour, with children in the room, right up until I checked out.

The premises and staff were nasty. People were hanging around the parking lot and over the second-level rails as soon as I arrived, which worried me since I work twelve-hour shifts and needed to sleep. The front desk woman was rude. I called more than fifteen times and she denied hearing the phone ring. I’d booked two nights and told her to cancel the second one, but I was too tired to go elsewhere that evening. She snapped, “you cancel cancel tonight to. I won’t charge you”. I did that, and my husband booked another hotel. Why can’t we give zero stars?
