Travelodge San Bernardino

I checked in, then left ten minutes later. The room was gross and smelled horrible. Save yourself, this is literally the worst hotel I’ve ever seen.

The room had carpet, but the AC took hours to cool it down. The shower was in bad shape, with a bent rail, a filthy shower head, and no pressure at all. There was a microwave and mini fridge, though the controller kept jamming.

The second room was pretty much just like the first, with cigarette smell added. The first was run down, with missing drawer cabinets, filthy walls in the room and bathroom, an old smell like nobody had cleaned in ages, and roaches around the bathroom. I checked out and asked for my money back 30 minutes after checking in. The manager, who had initially been nice, started yelling, snatched the key from my hand, and told me to get off her property. I’d give this place zero stars if I could. If you have nowhere else to go, I guess it’s an option, but I found a much cleaner hotel a couple blocks away for just five bucks more. This place is filthy, rude, and really run down.

We found a bed bug while cleaning up to leave. At first it looked like a speck on the pillow, then we saw it moving and confirmed what it was. We put it on a napkin, took pictures, and showed the front desk. The guy asked why I hadn’t told him sooner. The room was really dirty and smelled of chemicals covered up with some strong Pine-Sol-like scent. Worst of all, there was a bed bug, and the front desk guy didn’t seem to care or offer a solution. Beware of staying here. If you’re going to shows at the NOS, find somewhere else.
