Courtyard San Diego Airport/Liberty Station

The rooms were spotless and the beds were so comfortable that it was easy to unwind. My group also used the jacuzzi, which was nicely heated and relaxing, perfect for a staycation. Mike, the bartender, deserves a special mention. He made great drinks, kept a friendly smile, and checked that we were happy with our food and drinks. He went out of his way to make the visit memorable. The whole staff helped make it a fantastic stay, and I plan to come back.

Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Airport/Liberty Station is a comfortable, convenient option when I travel. As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and Maui Desire Romance Series novels, I appreciate a hotel that’s well located and easy to settle into. Set in Liberty Station, it offers easy access to the bay and a nice area for a walk or some downtime after a long day. The design is clean and modern, and the rooms are comfortable without being overcomplicated. The layout works for either a quick visit or a longer trip. Staff have been friendly and helpful, and things went smoothly from check-in onward. It’s easy to reset, get some work done, and head back out.

We enjoyed wandering the park areas beside the complex, and Liberty Station market was a great place to eat out. The location suited what we needed, with easy access to our rental car and parking, and we could get to the places we wanted nearby. Our son especially loved the balcony. We spent a couple of nights here over a September weekend. The facilities were great, and the customer team were friendly and made sure our requests were handled. We’ll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit.

I chose this Courtyard because it’s close to the airport and was pleased with the stay. The Uber took seven minutes door to door and cost $22, high because of California fees. There were Keurig pods in the room. My view was just the check-in lobby, but the staff were very friendly and remembered to give me a feather-free room.
