Extended Stay America San Diego - Sorrento Mesa

I’m legally blind, and my baby, my dog, and I have all been struggling to breathe. I have recordings of my daughter and puppy struggling, and tape of what happened. I was told the manager had checked and everything was fine, but people ignored me. We’re a military family, paying $1,000 a week, and were kicked out after complaining. I was even called a liar and laughed at when I asked why I had to leave. They called the police on me. The holidays were ruined. There was black mold, and everything was broken when we arrived. There were at least 12 piles of dog crap on the tiny lawn. I have photos of it all. They put new beds in other rooms but not ours, then said they were only installing frames. I don’t trust the fake kindness. There are only a few people working there with good intentions, and they pick and choose who gets treated decently, not the people who complain. When I complained, Nick said I’d be charged with hitting on the maintenance guy. I’d only offered him egg nog for putting my daughter’s bed together, after he told me not to disclose it to the manager. He said, “I’ll take a hug.” I would never hit on someone like that, but they went this far instead of making it right.

My socks would turn black after walking around indoors, so I’d suggest wearing sandals or shoes inside. Still, this location felt worth the price. Jessica was really friendly and helpful when we needed extra bed supplies and toiletries. She never made me feel like a bother, which I appreciated. Hope others get to have the same kind of interaction with Jessica.

I hadn’t planned to stay here, but I’m glad I did. The location worked for me, and the staff have been AWESOME. Jessica has helped me several times now, and she’s sooo NICE, always going out of her way to help.

The kitchenette made my stay much easier, and the room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, with a setup that worked well for an extended visit. Check-in and checkout both went smoothly at Extended Stay America Suites in San Diego. The staff were a real help: friendly, welcoming, and kind whenever I had a question. The location is close to restaurants, stores, and main roads, while still quiet enough to relax. It felt safe and well maintained, and I had no problems during my visit. I had a really great experience and would recommend it as an affordable, comfortable place to stay. I’d absolutely come back.
