The rooms were clean, quiet, and in order once I finally got inside. The catch was check-in: I arrived at midnight after the foggiest, scariest drive of my life, with two near-accidents, and faced an hour-long wait because one staff member was handling a huge crowd. After that drive, it was pure torture. Breakfast made up for a lot. I’m usually a one-meal-a-day guy, but I went back for seconds. The scrambled eggs and turkey patties were elite, maybe it’s that “last exit before Mexico” magic. And the coffee machine freshly grinds and brews beans for every cup, none of that sad, burnt hotel sludge. I even took a photo while it was working. Every hotel on earth should have one. The elevators and carpets feel vintage and are due for renovation. If you can get through the midnight check-in line, the turkey patties and bean-to-cup coffee feel like a hard-earned reward.

Breakfast was great, and the price was very reasonable. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I arrived. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

This is our go-to place when we’re in South San Diego or Baja. It’s south and very close to the CBX. The rooms are really clean, breakfast is tasty, and I love having turkey sausage as an option. The staff are always super friendly.

If you need to get to the Tijuana airport in the morning, this was a perfect stay. The rooms are super clean and have nice lighting, and there are Dove products in the shower. At breakfast, the pancake-making machine became a core memory for my kids. For a basic hotel, this place is exceptional. You won’t be sorry!

The quiet rooms made it easy to count on a full, restful night, and the comfort felt consistent throughout. Staff handled check-in with warmth and calm efficiency. Even in the lobby, the clean, peaceful feel was reassuring from the start. It’s good value, and I’d recommend staying here without hesitation. Coming back would feel like a natural choice.
