Ocean Park Inn

We had a third-floor oceanfront room, and it was worth paying for. The sunsets were amazing, and we enjoyed people watching on the boardwalk below. Every day we went to the little coffee and ice cream place, where you can get BOGO drip coffees, a great perk. Pacific Beach has a lively feel and great vibes. My wife thought the rooms were super cute, and they were very clean. We had a great stay!

The front desk staff were wonderful and helpful, and the beach is as close as it gets. Our room was bright and clean, with a little more than the essentials, including bathrobes, beach towels, and a safe. Breakfast was the weak spot: the utensils were flimsy, the coffee was awful, and there could have been more bread. The bacon and potatoes were good, though.

Emily and Jonathan at the front desk were a huge help when noise from a sports game at the bar across the street bothered us on arrival. They found us a bigger, quiet room without charging extra, which made our family stay with a young child much more pleasant. Our friends also got to park in the garage for free during a short visit, and we really appreciated that. The hotel and our room were exceptionally clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. The beach is just outside, the grocery store across the street, and lots of food options a few steps away. San Diego’s main attractions were a short drive. Breakfast was decent, and the heated pool was fine for swimming even in January. We were very happy with the stay.

The waterfront pool and spa were a real treat, and having off-street parking was handy. The hot breakfast was fantastic, too. It’s a clean, fun hotel in a great spot near the beach, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We love it here and couldn’t recommend it more.
