Best Western San Dimas Hotel & Suites

We come back three or four times a year because it's within walking distance of our family. The beds are just okay, and some tile work in the rooms and other areas could use attention. The shared restrooms also don't seem to get checked very often. What keeps us returning is the staff. Nina at the front desk is amazing with guests and especially supportive of the staff, and the kitchen crew are always friendly and focused. Having such good people here is a real bonus.

The scenery around the hotel is lovely, though the building itself feels quite old. We booked a queen room and a room with two twin beds for a few nights around an event, but they were far apart at first. We had to switch because the bathroom fan in one room didn't work, and the replacement ended up right beside our other room. I didn't mind the train noise. The pool, though, was so cold that swimming wasn't really an option, so we spent the time in the hot tub instead. It was okay overall.

The staff were really friendly, and both the rooms and the rest of the property were kept extremely clean. The beds called queens seemed more like full beds, which made sleeping two people a bit tight. Still, it wasn't a huge issue, and I'd stay here again without hesitation.

It's an older, basic Best Western, but my room was clean and bigger than I expected. There are just two floors and no elevator. It was quiet, and I barely noticed the train. I live a few hundred yards from a BNSF track, so that wasn't an issue for me.
