Extended Hotel Studio

The online photos gave a very misleading idea of the rooms, and the place was crawling with shady characters. We were told there were no rooms with two beds because ours was infested with cockroaches. The bed's headboard was scratched up, and the floor had what looked like permanent damage or stains. I didn't feel comfortable touching anything. The place was so disconcerting that we bought a room at another hotel. This was genuinely the lowest-quality hotel I've stayed in, and there are falsified reviews calling it clean.

We booked two rooms for two nights each. One smelled unbelievably bad, and even after I asked for freshener, I had to move rooms. Neither room had toilet paper, and there weren't enough hangers. The furniture and appliances were very old, and there were no dishes or pots and pans, just so you know. It wasn't fancy, but the staff did bring us towels and hangers.

The price and location made me happy with my stay. The town was cute, and it was close by. I was a little nervous about staying alone at an Extended Stay for the first time, but it was really quiet and I never heard loud noises. My first-floor room near the front desk was extremely clean. The evening check-in guy was nice and helpful, though one other guy was a little aloof. My small complaints were that the pillows could have been better and the iron didn't work, though I never iron anyway. I took the photos just before checking out.

The outside is dirty now, with garbage all over the lawn. Ownership and management changed after October 2025, and since then the place has run like scam artists. They want you to check out at 11 and check in again at 3 with all your things, which defeats the purpose of an extended stay. The old management used to let you extend day by day, and the staff before 10/2025 were great. The new staff are horrible, especially the manager “Meet”. He also asks for a $100 deposit if you're from California, while out-of-towners pay only $50. If you do stay here, make sure you get a receipt, because he tries going a pit giving you one.
