Touchstone Hotel - City Center

The budget room was small, but had enough space for us and matched the description, so I don’t understand the complaints about room size. We had a great stay at Touchstone hotel, and the location was great too. The staff were thoughtful and accommodating. They stored our luggage for free when we arrived early, then kept it until 5 pm before our evening flight. The middle-aged receptionist, whose name I’m sorry I can’t remember, even helped fill our water bottle. They wired the deposit back right after checkout, which was amazing.

The hotel was convenient and affordable, and the staff were among the best, going out of their way to help us. They let us check in early without advance notice or an extra fee, and the front desk gave us great food and sightseeing tips, including how to get there. The only slight inconvenience was that the outlets weren’t easy to reach. There were outlets, but we had to plug in an extension and set it on the floor, haha.

I stayed several nights and had a very positive experience with both the staff and location. Everything in my room was clean and well maintained. The rooms are on the small side and the bathrooms have an older style, but every staff member was helpful and went out of their way to provide white glove service and make the stay a good one.

The rooms were clean and well maintained, with comfortable bedding and their own private bathrooms. The hotel has classic charm and is older, but it’s clearly cared for. It’s within walking distance of lots of places. The front desk staff were always cheerful, smiled whenever we passed, and answered our questions within minutes. Definitely recommend!
