Heide welcomed us warmly when we arrived around 7:30 p.m., and the front desk team were fantastic and helpful throughout. Dawn, the GM, was also great, checking in with guests and residents to see how things were going or whether anyone had an issue. We came from Las Vegas for a mini vacation with friends and family at the start of the holiday season. We chose this hotel because it was the closest to where we were coming from and the location worked for us. Breakfast was simple, just grab-and-go bars, muffins, and coffee, as you’d expect from the hotel name. The rate was reasonable and it’s near everything, so I’d stay again.

The staff were attentive and nice, and they’re working with what they have. Still, this hotel needs updates, and you have to ask the front desk for everything. The kitchen was short on utensils, and although smoking isn’t allowed, the second floor smelled like cigarettes. In both of the suites we had on different floors, the stoves took a long time to heat. We also found crumbs under the pull-out sofa mattress, so cleanliness could be better.

The property is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are nice. The best part of the Edenvale South location is its staff. Ms. Dawn and Ms. Heidi are great managers who handle any issues that come up.

I had to wait in line while a homeless man refilled his thermos one K-cup at a time. The services should be limited to guests. Next time I’ll pay double and stay somewhere with a little more class.

Dawn and her team, Jerry, Heide, Fernando, and Jeremy, were wonderful. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and really accommodating. I’ve enjoyed staying at Extended Stay.
