We only came to SLO for one night, and the suite was just right. It was clean, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. We’d asked for extra pillows and found them waiting in the room when we arrived. The staff were kind. We loved our stay and definitely recommend it.

I can’t remember the gentleman’s name, but he helped me this morning and was really kind. The hotel was a more affordable choice for Easter weekend, and it turned out to be in a perfect spot midway between SLO and Avila. I think this will be our new place to stay when we head to the coast.

My African American coworkers and I were racially profiled and discriminated against at the reopening ceremony held here. I won’t go into what happened with the female staff because of the toll it would take on my feelings and mental health. It’s not an experience I want to relive. We’ve passed the information along to our company’s logistics team in case they consider booking us all here again. We’ve been to many cities and states and never been treated this way at a Marriott. Do better. May the Lord heal your hearts.

The only downside was that breakfast wasn’t free, and cost extra. Otherwise, I’d give it a 9 out of 10. The hotel was very clean and looked recently renovated, in a clean, safe area near grocery stores and restaurants. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. I had a small reservation problem, and Selena at the front desk went above and beyond to help.

I’ve stayed here for years, and it’s been renovated since then. The rooms are super clean, room size is amazing, and the TV is a great size. There’s free WiFi, a nice pool and jacuzzi, and it’s always nice and quiet. Everyone on staff is attentive and super friendly. I love staying here every time and totally recommend visiting. Thanks.
