There was litter on the floor, and the towels smelled a little like vomit. I think they were clean, but they still smelled off. My TV was frozen and wouldn't play, in Room 114, if they want to fix or replace it. At least the bed was clean, really soft, and comfortable, and the woman at the front desk was nice. I lowered my rating after killing two roaches and then finding one crawling into bed with me.

The rooms smelled terrible, and between the awful odors and strange workers, I won't return. We were downstairs in Room 110 after checking in around 6pm. The front desk person, a pretty Hispanic lady, checked the rooms and attended to us. She was polite, unlike some of the others I encountered. At night a young Hispanic lady was cursing and yelling at her children. She had a baby too, and it took a long time for us to get help. We were ready to sleep, but coworkers needed towels. In the morning, housekeeping slammed doors so loudly, and the housekeeper was rude and looked drugged up. Please work on getting better workers like the lady who checked us in.

Odett at the front desk was nice and kept trying to help, but I eventually got too tired of pointing out problems to get a decent room. I paid for two nights and left after one with no refund. The floor was dirty enough that you'd want a bath towel underfoot after a shower, and there was a fast food cup left on the shelf by the bed. No fridge, TV remote, or trash can; the microwave didn't work, which I found out in the morning. The room looked like it was being renovated, with paint and drywall patches. There were dead bugs, dust everywhere, and years' worth of dust above the TV station. At least the bed was comfortable, the WiFi worked, the water was hot, and the AC worked okay. My wife would have lost her mind and left before staying a night.

We were in San Marcos for a job and stayed a week. A man checked us in one morning and was nice, but said he'd bring a microwave and never did. Later I asked the short Hispanic lady with dark brown hair and makeup, and she attended to us right away, very politely. On our third day I asked Maricela for towels, and she was professional. She asked us to leave the used towels outside, and she picked them up from the door. The bad part was seeing people digging through dumpsters late at night and taking trash to a downstairs corner room during the week. That was gross, and it's why we won't come back to this Motel 6.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! My girlfriend and I had the worst hotel experience we've ever had. There were two roaches the first night, which wasn't a huge deal at first. But after I asked for towels so we could shower, a male worker put his hands and eyes against our window and yelled, “ya there still here”. We had booked two nights, and the hot water didn't work, so we had to take cold showers. After running errands, we came back and asked for another room to avoid another cold shower. The next morning I killed about eight roaches before taking pictures. I think there were 14 in all in that room. At 2AM, we couldn't take it anymore and asked to move again, for the third time. I killed another roach in the third room. In the morning, I went to the front desk to ask for a discount, and I would have been happy with $20 off. Daniel asked what he could do, then said he was the manager when I asked to speak to the manager. As soon as I explained I wanted a discount, he said he couldn't help and that I'd have to talk to the manager. I pointed out he'd just said he was the manager, but he denied it. He called the manager, who said she'd get me a full refund for the second night. They said it would take about three days. When I called after three days, the manager said the owner hadn't approved it. The owner obviously doesn't care about customers, and the front desk doesn't either, given how many times I was lied to. A male worker also peeked in my girlfriend's and my window after I asked for towels. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE!!
