It’s such a shame this place seems to have lost its old charm. The front desk doesn’t have much going on, but the place itself is quiet and cute, with an amazing, almost exotic feel. It reminded me of Panama City. I somehow felt like I was in E. N. NOS, actually. It’s the kind of romantic spot you’d want for a getaway or just a good night’s sleep. I’m going back as long as I can.

The place was very quiet, probably because nobody was there, but it only has street parking. The top blanket had bleach stains and holes, and the TV was messed up. They could upgrade things, but didn’t. There was no private bathroom, only shared bathrooms down the hall, and no heater in the room. It was winter and very cold. When I told the owner the next morning that the room was freezing and the TV was ruined, he got mad and started yelling. With the new ownership, this hasn’t been a great place. I won’t book again.

I booked this lovely hotel at the last minute for one night and got a free room upgrade since it wasn’t busy. The man who helped me was extremely caring and welcoming. The room had a TV, two sinks, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a closet. I was worried about street parking, but there’s all-night parking right next to the hotel. There are pretty patio tables and chairs, plus a little cafe near the front desk. It has a nice, homey feel rather than being a grand or fancy hotel. The carpeted stairs were a little dirty, and I noticed a tear in the bedsheet when I arrived, though housekeeping was tidy and clean. I’d recommend it if you want a cheap place mainly for sleeping and showering.

I wasted $300 and didn’t even stay because they tried to scam me. When I arrived, staff said I had to pay to upgrade my reservation to get a private bathroom. The booking didn’t say anywhere that the room lacked one, and I think they did that on purpose to make guests pay more. The staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. Some didn’t speak English and couldn’t answer a simple question like where to park. Parking is on the street, with no garage. Worst motel experience. Please don’t come here.

A really cute place with cozy, distinctive rooms. Once the upgrades are done and the restaurant opens, this is going to be a hot spot.
