We had room 130, with two big windows facing the blue ocean, and the views were breathtaking. The weather was 70 and there were no crowds. The rooms are very spacious. What a fantastic find, easily one of the best places to enjoy the coastal road. You need little else for a perfect vaccation.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and pleasant, so we felt at ease right away. After a long drive, arriving late in the evening, we were welcomed with real kindness, warm smiles, and a small thoughtful gift that made our night. The owner was caring and welcoming too, and you can feel how much they care about their guests. I'd absolutely recommend this motel to anyone passing through San Simeon. Thanks again for such a warm, memorable welcome!

The room was clean, the bed really comfortable, and we had a beautiful view. Breakfast was nice, and they also have an electric car charger. The place feels cozy, with staff so friendly it feels more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel. Its location close to the ocean is excellent. Basically, everything you need for a comfortable stay is here. I'd definitely come back, and I've already recommended it to friends.

After a long day of travel, my family arrived without a reservation and quickly got a room, cookies, and fun little race cars. The people at the front desk were personable and fun, and the community and pool area was really pleasant. Breakfast was great. We loved the retro appliances, and the mattresses were the best we'd slept on during the whole trip. This will be our regular place in San Simeon from now on!

Joe, the general manager, was fantastic, always smiling and available if you needed anything. The ocean-facing room was clean and comfortable, and good value for the money. The racing car souvenirs were a nice touch. Highly recommended if you're looking to stay near Cambria.
