Danny made check-in easy and was kind enough to show me around the room. I found the king room reasonably priced compared with other places nearby. It had a microwave, coffee maker, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a little fridge that kept my bottled water cold. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable and looked nice. I chose Budget Inn in Sanderson for an overnight stop on a recent trip through the desert along Hwy 90, and was pleased with the choice. Danny was friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it for a night, keeping in mind Sanderson is a small desert town.

Budget Inn Sanderson was just what I needed out here, clean and comfortable even though it's a simple hotel. Danny, the manager, was really friendly, and sorting things out before I arrived was easy. It's also well placed for a trip to Big Bend National Park. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

Danny even offered to take me into town for lunch and groceries, which was incredibly kind. I was stopping at Budget Inn for two days of rest during my Southern Tier Route bike trip, and the manager was helpful and accommodating throughout. If all you need is somewhere to rest, this is a very good option. Thanks, Danny!

The beds are firm but comfortable, and after a long day driving or hiking, the hot water made for a good shower or soak. Sanderson is the Cactus Capital, so it's worth exploring too. This is an old-school motor inn that hasn't been updated, with a two-star style of accommodation, but I found it comfortable enough to deserve five stars. The man managing the Sanderson Tx Budget Inn is very helpful, and, as others have mentioned, offers snacks with the room.

We came back in 2026, hoping to see Danny again after the kindness he showed us on our Southern Tier bicycle tour back in 2012. He was still there, friendly and helpful just as before. The hotel has reopened after closing during CoCod. Stop here and you'll be treated well, with a comfortable room to stay in.
