Capitol Inn by Belvilla Richmond Airport VA

Smfh, these were the most disgusting rooms I've ever seen. Sticky stuff was all along the edges of everything on the floor. You can tell they never did a deep clean. I could keep going, but this would turn into a book.

The front desk staff are very good. It's a nice place to stay, and very close to Richmond Airport.

The service was friendly and kind, and the location is convenient, central to the area and just up the street from the airport and interstate. The beds were pretty comfortable. The fridge kept drinks really cold, and the water gets hot enough for a nice shower.

I left after the front desk interaction. A woman explained that towels were locked up and gave me a hand towel to step on, then the man had the nerve to tell me it was late when I asked for a floor towel so I could shower. I'd checked for bedbugs and thankfully found none, but this place isn't worth the money or the headache. I'll be sending a complaint to BBB. That's only part of what happened while renting this room. The hotel looked clean and acceptable when I came in, but my room was completely infested with roaches. I bought spray and bleach and cleaned it myself because I'd paid for the room. By midnight, I was ready to sleep in my car. This place needs to be shut down until they get the rooms in order. Do not stay here.
