DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond Airport

The housekeeping crew deserves credit too. I don't know all their names, but the rooms are consistently well kept, and their work helps make the hotel feel welcoming. At breakfast, Meeka and Ms. Debra take such good care of me, often anticipating what I need. Their service and attention to detail are a real highlight. At the front desk, Semeatria, Julyana and Yaritza make arrival and checkout easy. Yaritza especially goes out of her way to make me feel at home, and I think she has a bright future, wherever her career takes her. She and Semetria both make guests feel welcome. I've stayed at plenty of hotels, and this team at Hilton Richmond Airport stands out for its hospitality. From arrival through breakfast, they treat you like family. If you want a place near RIC airport where staff remember your name and take pride in their work, I recommend this team.

I spent three days here on business and had a good stay at the Doubletree Richmond Airport. Thanks to Semeatria for making check-in smooth and for the hospitality. The rooms were very clean, the staff professional, and the food was delicious with some healthy choices. It's close to the airport, and they offer a shuttle. I highly recommend it.

It's a great hotel, and I had no trouble with plane noise despite its position just off the airport glide path. Service at the bar was great on Sunday, but awful the next night. On Monday I had to get the bartender's attention, and she wasn't keeping track of who'd arrived first. Not a good look, so I didn't spend any money at the bar that second night.

Debra and Meka in food service deserve a mention. Breakfast was very good, and they were fun to chat with. The front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and professional too. The hotel treated me and my team well, and we were welcomed with warm cookies.
