I stayed here last weekend and was really impressed. The room smelled nice, was clean, and had a pretty big bathroom. The doors were thick and did a good job keeping sound out. The front desk was nice, breakfast was really good, and the location was great. I liked the hotel's particular charm and the calming therapy pool in the basement. I'll stay here again if I'm back in Sandusky.

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay overnight on the drive back from Syracuse to Appleton, Wisconsin. I found this hotel on Priceline, and the price and pictures looked good. The front staff were so nice at check-in, and we joked around like old friends. Our room, 203, had two beds, a desk, couch, and dresser. It felt like business class and was really big for just the two of us. The next morning I noticed the shower handle was broken, though it was still usable. That's my only complaint. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Sandusky, Ohio.

The hotel was assigned to our volleyball club, and after reading the reviews I was apprehensive about staying there. It ended up far exceeding what I expected, especially for the price. It's not top of the line, but the room and property were clean, and the staff were very friendly.

The bed was VERY comfortable, and I'd recommend staying here. I was here two nights, and the room was clean when we arrived, aside from a pin on the floor, but hey, it happens. There are lots of food options nearby, and Cedar Point is relatively close. We did wait a while for someone to check us in, though we arrived later in the evening, so that may have been why. Breakfast was just okay, so I'd plan on going out for it.

The staff were very friendly, and we stayed in a two-room quiet with three double beds. The bathroom surfaces were clean, and the warm breakfast foods were decent. But cleanliness overall wasn't great, and there was a bad smell. The beds were hard, some didn't have full-size pillows, and the HVAC units were really nasty and clearly hadn't been cleaned. The couch had trash and crumbs all over it, like it hadn't been cleaned, and the older, worn carpets didn't seem clean either. Breakfast was poor apart from the warm food. The juices tasted very sour, maybe from being stored improperly, and the coffee tasted like it had been brewed in a pot that never gets cleaned.
