Hampton Inn - Atlanta Perimeter Center

The old smell in the room and elevator area was noticeable throughout my stay. What bothered me most was a front desk interaction that felt confrontational. The employee was rude and dismissive, and seemed irritated when I tried to charge snacks to the room because my pregnant wife couldn’t come downstairs. I offered to have her called to verify, but the associate declined and acted as though I was doing something wrong. My name hadn’t been successfully added to the reservation, which was under my wife’s name, so I wanted to document this to avoid later misunderstandings about either account. I’m a Team Member and Diamond Member, and she was staying on my team member discount. I work at a hotel front desk and deal with guests every day, so I know how much professionalism and good service matter. My stay was acceptable otherwise, but I simply want this concern recorded.

Breakfast was ready at 7:00 a.m. and came at no extra charge, a nice bonus. For the price, this was a fantastic deal, and the service was superb. It’s clearly an older property, though immaculately clean. I gave the location five stars, even though getting out of the parking lot and onto the highway is somewhat difficult.

A really relaxing visit. The staff were friendly, the rooms spotless, and the location was super convenient for the Perimeter and Sandy Spring area. I’d definitely return.

I liked the great staff, good location, quiet atmosphere, and excellent breakfast choices. My only problem was the room. It looked clean overall, but had an unpleasant stale smell the whole time. The hallway carpets were absolutely filthy, which made me question how clean the place really was.
