We loved watching the yachts come and go from the boat basin, and there were seals around throughout the day. We stayed in the little second-story “Upper Mermansion,” which was adorably small but practical, with amazing views. The bathrooms were updated, with new Kohler toilets and white tile showers with rainfall heads. There were big-screen TVs in both the bedroom and living/kitchen area, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. The staff tidied the room daily, replenished towels, and even washed the dishes by the kitchenette sink. For our anniversary, my wife and I had an unforgettable stay and would choose this place again. The staff were friendly, informative, professional, and helpful from check-in to the end. They showed us to our room, carried our bags, explained the cottage and its appliances and HVAC, and offered us a golf cart ride, though we preferred to walk. Slip 14 and O bar at Yoshi Sushi were only a few steps away, less than a minute on foot. Highly recommend if you want your own kitchenette and space, great service, and bars and restaurants right next door.

We had a fantastic time and would stay again if we return. My husband and I came with our dog for our honeymoon a few years ago. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was outstanding. They went all out for our dog, giving her a bed, a custom name tag, ball toys, and treats. We appreciated that so much. The location was great for getting to restaurants, shops, and other places nearby.

The staff were really helpful and did a great job accommodating us, and it's a great location and place to bring a dog. One thoughtful touch: they left us useful contact information for our dog, including dog walkers, the closest vet, groomers, and pet stores.

The location is very central and works well if you're traveling without a car. But with a car, there's NO parking, and there's NO restaurant or room service. The rooms also looked nothing like the listing. Our cottage was right above the gazebo, and it was insanely loud. White Elephant has a partnership here and was incredibly helpful in getting us settled and handling our luggage, but without them, finding the front desk would've been nearly impossible. I wouldn't recommend it. There are plenty of better options on the island.

Right over the water and close to all the downtown activity. The convenient shuttle and complimentary ice cream and lemonade helped make it a great experience.
