We had a very nice room with newer furniture and a comfortable mattress. The place was clean and felt safe, with breakfast, Wi-Fi, and free parking, and it was a good value. The shuttle service was dependable, and the staff were very good. We flew out of Sanford Orlando Airport, and this hotel worked great for that.

The front desk gentleman was really helpful and even asked whether we needed the airport shuttle. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the hotel is convenient for SFB, about a six-minute drive away, which suited our early flight. Our room was clean and comfortable. We missed breakfast because we left so early, but otherwise had a very good stay at the Best Western Plus Sanford Airport/Lake Mary Hotel. We'd definitely stay again.

Water from the bathtub was pouring through the wall into the closet, and there were several leaks in our room. The breakfast area was unclean, and the hallways looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The mold smell was so strong it burned my nose and eyes and hurt my throat. I don't know how this place is open.

The workout room had a broken Peloton, a sticky floor, and an empty water cooler that looked like it had never been cleaned. The water fountain filter was red. In the room, we found mold, peeling wallpaper, dirty counters, and stained sheets. Breakfast was terrifying, and even the coffee machine looked unclean. There was filth on the counters, tables, and floor throughout the place. The whole hotel smelled of mold and mildew as soon as we walked in. The bald guy at the counter didn't say a word. Best Western should pull its brand from this hotel. Their owner seems to answer every review with a copy-pasted “we're sorry, hope you try us again,” but no. Go walk around your hotel, this dump should be shut down. I've tried to post photos and think the owner may be blocking them. I also tried to get a refund, but they refused. I bet this place won't be in business long. I reviewed it with Best Western Cooperate too, and they know about the unacceptable conditions. This is not a Best Western Plus. Please read the newest reviews before booking. Some of the good ones are old.

The pool in the parking lot was closed, and the room smelled strongly of humidity. It wasn't clean, the carpet felt sticky, and I didn't want to walk barefoot. The air quality was so poor that my son had an asthma attack. A very disappointing stay.
