Comfort Inn & Suites Orlando North

We've stayed here for years, but after this visit we don't want to come back. We paid for two rooms for ten days for a family vacation, with eight kids and two adults. The front desk women and cleaning staff were very friendly, and we tipped them accordingly. But the security guard had a big ego and acted like he could barge into our rooms because the kids were playing ding-dong ditch. The manager was rude. We were told that one more incident would get us kicked out without a refund. We asked whether we could leave early because the hotel clearly wasn't kid-friendly, and were told management would need to approve a partial refund and let us know in the morning. When we came back in and asked them to contact management so we could leave in the morning and go to another hotel, the woman denied it and said we could leave peacefully with no refund. The door had been broken since we arrived, and even after we reported it several times, no one fixed it. Getting towels and toilet paper for ten people was a hassle, and we were told that was too many towels. We also saw roaches crawling on the ground while using the bathroom. I don't recommend this hotel, especially for families with kids.

The breakfast had a big selection, and it was very good. The orange juice was some of the best I've had, and you'd have to be pretty picky not to find something to eat. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable, but the traffic noise was awful. It felt like we were being run over all night. Being by the highway, the windows need an upgrade to block sound. Decent place, if you don't mind losing sleep.

We had a clean, quiet room with a comfortable, clean bed and no strange smells. The included breakfast was delicious, especially the sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Staff were as polite as can be, and the free airport shuttle can be scheduled. We chose this as a one-night rest stop before flying out of SFB, and it was a really pleasant stay. I don't usually expect much from highway hotels surrounded by competitors, but the value and quality were great for the price. If you're choosing among hotels in this area, go ahead and pick this one. I appreciate having a clean, quiet, safe place where travelers can sleep for a night or two.

We were here because of a family emergency, and everyone was kind and understanding. It's a very basic hotel, but it had what we needed for a short stay, with basic amenities always available. I gave it five stars for the service. Thanks to the staff.
