Sanibel Inn

The rooms are roomy, clean, and comfortable, and the renovation looks beautiful. We enjoyed lovely sunrises from the balcony during our comfortable three-night stay. The bed linens could use improvement, though: the sheets were scratchy and the pillows hard. Staff put out beach chairs each morning, and you can ask them to set up umbrellas too. The pool bar and grill was good, with fresh chicken tenders. We also picked up a good pizza from Dante’s one night. We’d definitely return!

We had such a lovely stay, even though it was too short. Next time we’ll make it at least a week. The room, food, view, and staff were all first rate. We even spotted four or five dolphins just off the beach, a memory we’ll treasure. We’ll be back as soon as we can!

Katherine, our housekeeper, made me feel especially welcome. When I asked for extra toiletries, she smiled and said we were all family there, and she really made that feel true. This was my sixth stay at the Sanibel Inn, and I’m still impressed by the staff, rooms, and beautiful views.

The beach and patio were lovely, and we had such a great time here. The patio has a roomy screened sitting area with tables and chairs, and the whole resort was spotless. Staff were kind throughout, and the poolside Tiki hut had amazing food and drinks. They also provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, plus extras like razors, toothbrushes and toothpaste, mouthwash, sewing kits, brushes, and deodorant if you need them. Room service came daily to clean, make the bed, restock coffee, tea, and creamer, take out the trash, and leave fresh linens.
