The room and bathroom were clean, and the place smelled fresh. The shower was tucked into a dark corner, though. It’s an easy walk to the beach and restaurants, but the location itself isn’t anything special. This felt like a typical motel with an atypical price. At over $200 a night, I expected more for the money.

The place is being remodeled, which it badly needed, and the guy running it was friendly at first. But after checkout he accused me of having animals in the room, which wasn’t true. The showers were small and dirty, with mold everywhere, and breakfast was very basic. I wouldn’t stay again.

The staff were friendly, and it’s well located for the beach and State St. Noise from other guests isn’t the hotel’s fault, but the walls are so thin that you hear it. Avania Inn next door is much nicer for a little more money.

The room smelled like someone was growing marijuana, the sheets made my skin itch, and the fridge barely worked. For a few dollars more, I could’ve stayed at the hotel next door. At this price, it wasn’t worth it for just a place to sleep.

The hotel manager was probably the rudest I’ve ever met. I’m too upset to go into details right now, but he told us straight out that he hates f..ng locals. I’ll never stay here again or let anyone I know stay, even if it’s the cheapest motel around. Now I know why it’s so cheap. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
