Town and Country Inn

The people here made the difference. Thanks for being kind and ready to help with the few issues I ran into. The Mexican girl working there was incredibly helpful and kind, and the front desk girl found a solution to my problem, too. The place was clean and comfortable, and I had a great stay. Thanks to all of you. I'll definitely stay here again when I return to Santa Barbara. Greetings from Italy!

A simple, no-frills room, but very clean and the beds were comfortable. It's near Trader Joes and down the street from the shops and restaurants, a short drive or a fairly long walk away. The owners were friendly. I spent one night and would stay again.

The rooms and bathroom were tidy and clean, and the inside was much nicer than I expected from the outside of the inn. It felt cramped with two beds, especially with one right by the bathroom door and the desk. I think a single bed would have suited the room better. There's a mini fridge, microwave, coffee kettle, water bottle, and utensil set with a straw, napkins, salt and pepper. An iron is provided, but there's no ironing board. The walls are thin, so you can easily hear neighbors and people in the parking lot. We came for a quick weekend getaway with our pup. Check-in is available 24 hours, which is handy, and they give you the keys and Wi-Fi details. Dogs cost an extra $65 per night. Checkout is at 11 a.m., and they're punctual so the rooms can be cleaned. You can return the key at the desk or leave it in the room and call to check out. Parking on the property is free, first come, first served, and we had no trouble finding a spot near our room. The price was affordable, so I'd stay again if I had my dog with me.

The walls are thin enough that you can hear everything next door, which was pretty disturbing. The beds were questionable too: there was women's hair all over the mattress, water damage stains, and a bad smell. The pillows were filthy, so I had to use my own covers.
