The room smelled like curry, was super gross, and the beds were hard as rocks. There was nowhere to park, and the lady at the front desk kept my money and told me to leave because I had a dog. I booked through Expedia, and she said I could've brought the dog if I had booked directly with her, but not through Expedia. I'm on vacation and I'm a kind person, but this completely ruined my trip. In a couple of hours I was supposed to pick up my mother from the airport. Do not ever come here.

We paid a good off-season rate, $195. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. I went back and forth between the room and the boardwalk, and even took a nap. It's close to the boardwalk and wharf. Only issue was the floors. They felt dirty and were slippery, so don't walk barefoot in the room.

It's near the beach and probably a great value for the area, which is why I gave it three stars. The bathroom looks like it may have been renovated recently. But I had to run the shower water for 15 minutes before it got hot, there was no mirror in my room, and the air conditioner didn't work. I lost sleep in the summer heat. If comfort matters to you, I'd consider somewhere else.

For the price, it was great. I'm a Maui Federal disaster victim coming home to Capitola and Santa Cruz. Some nice young men found this place for me, and the lady was very nice. The location was quite a challenge for me as a disabled person because there are no bus lines. I was lucky Santa Cruz Paratransit could help me with my move. Always make sure to book online.

I paid $181 and really don’t think it was worth it. For that price, I could’ve stayed somewhere better. The room smelled strongly of mildew, the AC didn’t work, and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Parking was really tight, and there wasn’t a closet or even any hangers.
