Holiday Inn Santa Maria

I just needed somewhere to sleep and shower, so this worked well for me. The bed was clean and comfortable, I got a good night's rest and a hot shower, and there was air conditioning, heat, and a TV. I watched the news and weather while making coffee with my travel coffee maker. There was no microwave, fridge, or coffee maker in the room. For my needs, it was perfect, and I'd stay again. If you're planning to be there more than a couple of days, you might want to ask whether they have rooms with a microwave and fridge.

For what we paid, the room was really good. The staff were super friendly, and I liked that dogs stay without a deposit. There's also a large grassy area for them to relieve themselves. We'll definitely stay again.

It's Motel Six, decent and fairly priced, and the place is in reasonable condition. You get what you pay for. If you spend twice as much, the accommodations will be better than what the Motel Six model offers.

The front desk workers were pretty chill, but I'm giving this one star because there are too many homeless people hanging around Motel 6. One night, a homeless man tried to break into my room through the window. I checked out that day, and they didn't offer a discount or anything for the inconvenience. One of the workers did say sorry. Be careful and stay safe if you're staying here.
