The staff were friendly, and there’s free breakfast in the morning with juice available all day. The hotel looks out over a pretty lake and is handy for grocery stores, restaurants, and shops. The pool was dirty, and the hot tub took a long time to start when we used the timer, though both facilities did work. A basic stay with some nice amenities, and I’d recommend it for that.

A big plus for our family with kids was having hot water and coffee in the lobby around the clock. That felt generous, and you don’t see it everywhere. The front desk staff were lovely, and when the laundry was broken, they tried to help by offering to wash our loads. We also had a decent pool, and they let people stay a bit longer when nobody complained. The rooms and bathrooms are somewhat dated, breakfast was okay, and the only elevator moved slower than a turtle. Location was good.

A reservation confirmed in advance should count for something. We got there at 10 PM and were told our room couldn’t be used because of an “AC malfunction.” We said we were willing to stay even without air conditioning, but the front desk still wouldn’t let us have it. It seemed possible the room had been given to somebody else, and we weren’t being told the real reason. That’s how it felt, though we couldn’t know for sure. They offered no workable solution, accepted no responsibility, and showed no concern about leaving guests stuck late at night. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

The people here really came through for me after a nightmare booking through super.com. Everything was clean, the food was amazing, and the customer service went above and beyond. I travel for work and usually stay at the marriot, but this place has made my top list and felt worth every penny. My whirlpool room was great, with comfortable bed and pillows. There’s Prime and Netflix to connect to on the TV, plus free direct tv. The rooms have upgraded K cup coffee, a fridge and microwaves. Behind the hotel there’s a nice pond and several clean, cushioned, quiet places to sit. Great stay.
