Hampton Inn Sarasota-I-75 Bee Ridge

I spent months here for a work assignment and the staff were fantastic throughout. They’ll do what they can to make your stay a good one. The property is consistently clean and well maintained. There are several businesses within walking distance, and it’s easy to get onto the interstate from here. LOVE this hotel, highly recommend it!

After a disappointing stay at the Tampa Riverwalk Hotel, this place felt like a welcome change. The property was clean, cared for, and inviting, and the staff were friendly, professional, and attentive the whole time. I had no complaints, everything went beyond what I expected. I’d absolutely return and recommend it. 10/10.

Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. My husband is a diamond member, and we’ve stayed in lots of hotels. This one is really good value. The ventilation was good too, with no funky or musty smells.

The staff were good with us, the location was amazing, and they let us check out an hour late the next morning, which gave us a little more time to charge the EV. But the two main things we booked for were a hot tub and charging station, and neither worked as hoped. The charging spots were blocked when we arrived, and although the charger showed green, we were told they were out of order. By 7 am the next day they were working again. I suspect that was to stop people charging for free overnight. The hot tub was ice cold, so that was 0-2 on the amenities we wanted. We’re Hilton-only customers and hate leaving a bad review, but we paid full price to stay from 8 pm to 11 am and expected those amenities to be available. Breakfast was good, though they wouldn’t let us make a waffle 10 minutes before official breakfast service, even with everything set up. I understand the rule, but we’ve been allowed to do that elsewhere. One extra hour helped with the charge, though a full charge would’ve been nice. I’m taking off a star for the EV charging and one for the hot tub.
