Island Dreams Gulf Breeze #2

We checked out today after three nights and wanted to write this before I forgot. The property was updated, clean, and had great amenities. We especially liked having a beach cart, umbrella, and chairs to use. The location is great, close to the beach as well as the shops and restaurants at st Armand’s square. It was a great stay, and we'll be back.

Casa Limonada is close to everything but still felt quiet and safe. It was only about a two minute walk to the beach, pool, and pavilion, where the food was surprisingly good. Shopping and restaurants at St. Armands Circle were nearby too. The owner, Gur, was welcoming and kind, and when we extended our stay he upgraded us to a bigger room without being asked. Common areas were inviting, and we never had a cold shower. We stayed in the Blue Lime room, which was one of the cleanest places I've ever been, even compared with higher end hotels. Everything felt modern and thoughtfully updated, nothing worn out or dated about it. The free washer and dryer came with detergent, and parking was never an issue. Our kitchenette had pots and pans, dishes, utensils, a microwave, mini fridge, and two burner cooktop. The AC worked surprisingly well, and the outdoor shower was great after a day at the beach. They also had beach towels, toiletries, a cart with chairs and an umbrella, plus paddle boards, bikes, and pool floats for guests. We didn't use those last things, but appreciated having the option. We can't wait to come back!

For a family stay, this place made things easy. We were five minutes from the sand on foot, and Marcus helped us with anything we needed. There was a shared area with cold drinks and snacks, and the beds were comfortable. Everything was super clean, with fun beachy decor, so it felt like a real vacation where things were taken care of. We could walk to Monster Arcade, ice cream shops, and a good Italian restaurant, and the drive to SRQ airport was 20 minutes. There were surfboards, bikes, a washer and dryer, dishwasher, dishes, umbrellas, wagons, and an outdoor shower after the beach. Easy and economical. We'll be back!

Traveling alone to a new place can feel intimidating, but I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The room was perfect, and the place had Florida vibes everywhere, from the boardwalk courtyard to the decor inside and out. I spent a lot of time at the beach and was glad the room included a chair and umbrella. If I return to Lido beach, I'll stay here again.
