Deluxe Inn - Savannah

We were meant to stay at the Thunderbird Motel, which is owned by the same people, but they didn’t know about our reservation and had given the room to someone else. They sent us to the Deluxe Inn instead. The two people at the desk were rude, hard to hear, and no help at all. The room was the worst I’ve ever seen, so we left almost right away. Half the lights didn’t work and the switches had no covers. The table under the TV was split in half, with a drawer hanging open and a smoke alarm loose instead of mounted on the wall. The doors were filthy, the paint was scratched and dirty, and there was a hole in the wall that looked like someone had punched it. The bed cover had several holes, mostly cigarette burns. Don’t stay here.

They did give us a generous refund, but we left right away. It was the worst hotel room I’d ever seen.

For $60-$65 a night, I got a room with bed bugs and was bitten. My friend and I received a $50 refund because of it. The woman and man at the front desk were very rude, there was no internet, and the service was bad. Worst hotel in Savannah, Ga, in my experience. Zero stars.

It used to be a really bad place, but the new manager has made it nice to live here. He’s great.
