The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed: TV, small fridge, microwave, Keurig, iron and board, hair dryer, toiletries, regular outlets and USB plugs, plus a safe. The common areas, including the lobby, breakfast area, lounge, and conference spaces, were tidy and welcoming. Staff were helpful and friendly, and a daytime concierge can help plan an itinerary. The hotel sits in a lovely building and is very well placed for exploring Savannah on foot, with views, restaurants, bars, and plenty of candy shops nearby. I’d stay here again.

For what we paid, this was very disappointing, and we won’t return. The TV reception by satellite was also unreliable. The housekeeping policy says rooms are serviced every other day, but during our four-day stay nobody came by. Trash piled up and we ran out of towels. On day three I asked the front desk to make sure the room was cleaned, and they promised it would be. After sightseeing, we came back to an untouched room and called again. Someone brought towels to the door; only after I explained that the used ones and trash needed taking away did they come in. I asked if they could make the bed too, and they walked out and never came back. The rooms are quite expensive.

The Trolley stops right outside, and there’s covered parking next door for $15 for three days, which is hard to beat. We had a great view from the ninth floor, so I’d suggest asking for a higher floor. The location is excellent and the staff were pleasant, but the resort looked worn and poorly maintained. Paper on the floor and a pizza box were left for more than 24 hours, and a vacuum in the hallway overnight was an unavoidable trip hazard. The taped-up elevator panel also gave an impression of neglect. Breakfast was all-you-can-eat with lots of choices. The rooms were comfortable, though an occasional cargo ship could be heard, and they could use more light.

We were in Savannah for a Savannah Bananas game and had actually booked another hotel. After learning that the #11 Old Town Trolley stop was two blocks away, we came here to buy tickets from the concierge. Sandra was incredibly welcoming and took time to explain the historical sites on the map she gave us, even though we were walk-ins and not hotel guests. The other two employees we met were just as warm and full of southern hospitality. We stayed at a historical boutique hotel this trip, but I know where I’ll book next time.

We stayed Jan 1 to Jan 3. The room was clean, the shower was hot, and the sheets were clean, though they’re getting thin and may need replacing. Abby and Shery at the desk were pleasant, and the breakfast attendant was kind and kept the free food stocked even with the crowd. Breakfast was decent, but it gets very busy after 8am, and there could be more seating. The hotel is in a great, busy location and was crowded. Valet staff were nice, but valet costs a lot. Skip it and use the garage ten feet away, or even the meters, to save money. There should be more luggage carts. A few bulbs in our room were out and it could use another lamp by the TV. The iron was missing, but they replaced it right away. The top pool deck has a nice view. I’d stay again.
