East Bay Inn, Historic Inns of Savannah Collection

The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had lots of amenities. East Bay Inn is in the Historical area, so many sights are an easy walk away. Every employee I met was friendly and helpful, and the stay exceeded my expectations. I’ll book again if I’m back in Savannah.

East Bay Inn is our usual choice in Savannah because the care and service are consistently good, and the rooms are clean and welcoming. We’ve stayed in several rooms, most recently a first-floor patio room that worked great with our new puppy. After our long drive, the two drink vouchers for the onsite bar were much appreciated. I’m not sure if they’re always offered. The complimentary water, sodas, and water bottles saved us a trip to the store. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was well stocked with good water pressure, which matters to me. Our first-floor room also had high ceilings that made it feel more spacious. Stay at the East Bay if you’re visiting Savannah, you won’t be disappointed.

We booked this after looking online at East Bay Inn. The historic room was gorgeous, right in the heart of downtown Savannah, with everything walkable. The friendly staff were personable and helpful, and we appreciated the wine vouchers and free non-alcoholic drinks. For the price, we thought breakfast or pastries could have been included. They didn’t have Tylenol or Advil available either, but that wasn’t a big deal. Still, after a good time on the boulevard, we were a little surprised.

The rooms had lots of charm, and the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially with our bags when we arrived early and left late. We stayed three nights on our first visit to Savannah and would definitely return to this cozy boutique hotel. It’s well placed for exploring historic Savannah, with a nice coffee shop and bar attached and a delicious restaurant downstairs.
